About Me

I grew up in the NASA–Houston area, which helped shape an early interest in science and problem-solving. Alongside academics, I spent much of high school in music—primarily saxophone—and competed in TMEA ensembles, including jazz and concert band.

I began college at the University of Houston, where I earned my EMT license and started working in clinical settings. That experience gave me a practical view of how care is delivered day-to-day and reinforced my interest in work that improves real clinical outcomes and workflows.

I later transferred to the University of Texas at Austin to study Human Biology. Since then, I’ve focused on research and projects at the intersection of biology and computation—especially efforts that turn complex biological questions into clear, reproducible analyses and results that are easy to communicate.
